The international educational project Knowledge Stream at the Digital October center hosted a lecture of Blake Wooster about the use of high-technology in sports management.
On March 14th at the Digital October center, the international educational project, Knowledge Stream, hosted a lecture about the use of high-technology in sports management. Blake Wooster, the head of business development at Prozone Sports, Ltd. and a trusted consultant for world-renowned sports brands such as FIFA, UEFA, Chelsea and Real Madrid, discussed which types of know-how are used to improve a sports team's effectiveness and which innovations will be introduced to the sports industry in the near future.
Modern technology is used to comprehensively analyze games: to analyze the action in real-time, to conduct an objective post-game analysis of the team and individual players, or to accurately evaluate the pros and cons of the rival teams before the game even begins. The combination of a coach's intuition and scientific data is used to optimize a team's performance.
At the lecture Blake Wooster told about the practical application of Prozone's developments and demonstrated the use of these technologies to the guests at Knowledge Stream.
